Cashier:  “Wow that’s a big dog bed.  What kind of dog is it for?”
Me: “It’s for a Chihuahua.”
Cashier: “Haha that’s funny. What kind of dog is it really for?”
Me: “No really. A Chihuahua.”
Cashier: “Um, why such a big bed for such a little dog?”
Me: “Well you see, I’m hoping that my Doberman will get to use this bed, but I doubt my Chihuahua will allow her to spend much time on it.”
Cashier: (completely confused) Oh.

What is Canine Global Domination?

Well it’s really just a catch phrase.  A friend came up with it and it just stuck with me.  I like it because it’s so dramatic and obviously exaggerated.  But I should clarify.  It’s not meant to suggest that Ramsey and Pablo are trying to take over the world, but more-so the Doberman and Chihuahua as breeds.  Ramsey and Pablo just happen to be their spokesdogs.

We all know the problems that the Doberman faces as a breed, and I’ve vowed to fight for them until the day I die.  I’m in a unique position because of the popularity of Ramsey and Pablo, to use my videos as a platform to help change a few minds ab0ut the Doberman and hopefully chisel away at some of the ridiculous stereotypes created by irresponsible owners and the media.  And honestly, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a little fun in the process.

But meanwhile, there are these microscopic dogs called Chihuahuas that come up short (pun intended) in the respect department because of their size.  These ankle-biters go to war every single day – dodging human feet, avoiding falling objects such as car keys which were seemingly meant for their heads, battling for territorial supremacy against their much larger canine roommates – the list goes on!  And after a long, hard day in the trenches, they settle down on the couch with their owners and listen to us talk to them as if we were talking to a human baby?

You would be a little grouchy too!

So anyway, it’s important to me that everyone realize the phrase Canine Global Domination is more about poking fun at the popularity of Ramsey and Pablo than anything else.  But if someday Dobermans and Chihuahuas rule the world, don’t come crying to me!   You’re the ones watching Ramsey and Pablo videos on YouTube.  Hehe.

This is what you get when you run out of a high-maintenance Chihuahua’s favorite treat. He still got a treat – just not the one he preferred. He’s always so excited when I put it in his mouth, he doesn’t even bother to look at it – I could probably give him a rock. Well, I gave him a different treat and he dropped it on the floor and stood there looking at me like “What the heck is this?” Normally, he guards his treats with his life, but this particular morning he walked away and went to pout under the table.
